Paul Daugerdas embarked on an impressive professional journey that spans the financial, legal, and accounting sectors. In 1994, he joined the Law Offices of Altheimer & Gray as a partner, assuming the crucial role of Head of the Tax Department and becoming an invaluable member of the esteemed Steering Committee. He showcased his business acumen and expertise as a Shareholder/Partner at the Law Offices of Jenkens & Gilchrist from 1999 to 2002. During this period, he effectively managed the Chicago office and was pivotal in co-directing the Tax Practice. His contributions were further recognized through his membership in the Management Advisory Committee at Jenkens & Gilchrist.

Beyond his remarkable professional achievements, Daugerdas has demonstrated a solid commitment to charitable causes. Notably, he actively supported The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northern Illinois, assuming the critical positions of Chairman and President from 2002 to 2003. During his tenure, he impacted the lives of children facing critical illnesses, leaving behind a legacy of hope and joy. His dedication to philanthropy extended beyond The Make-A-Wish Foundation, as he assumed various roles, including Board Member, Treasurer, Finance Committee Member, and Wish Granter, from 1996 to 2008. His commitment to making a positive difference in the community is evident through his consistent contributions to various charities, including museums and civic organizations, since the mid-1970s.

A passionate reader since his grammar school years, he finds reading a source of inspiration, knowledge, and entertainment. While his interest in philosophy, religion, and theology has been long-standing, his deep focus and commencement of a theology degree program.
